Product Description The Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system places you at the center of the experience. Xbox 360 ignites a new era of digital entertainment that is always connected, always personalized, and always in high definition.Xbox 360 gives you access to the games you want to play, the people you want to play with, and the experiences you crave—when and where you want them.
Amazon.com Product Description Xbox 360 sets a new pace for digital entertainment. More than just a cutting-edge game system, Xbox 360 also integrates high-definition video, DVD movie playback, digital music, photos, and online connectivity into one sleek, small tower, and in the process puts true Next-Gen power right at your fingertips.
Note: This is a refurbished Xbox 360 Pro console. | | Xbox 360, shown with wireless controller, is a sleek, customizable gaming and entertainment system | Under the Hood Xbox 360 is much smaller than its predecessor--it measures approximately 3.3 by 12.2 by 10.2 inches and weighs 7.7 lbs. It's powered by custom IBM PowerPC-based CPU with three symmetrical cores each running at 3.2 GHz. It also carries a custom ATI graphics processor loaded with 10 MB of embedded DRAM, 48-way parallel floating-point dynamically scheduled shader pipelines and Unified shader architecture. This is powerful enough to draw 500 million triangles per second. In other words, it makes for great looking games in standard TV definition, and even better thanks to built-in support for HDTV 1080i televisions. It also supports the widescreen 16:9 format. The unit has a 12x dual-layer DVD-ROM drive, which plays both the game media and progressive-scan DVD movies right out of the box. For game-save and media storage, users can choose between the detachable and upgradeable 20GB hard drive, or a separately sold 64MB flash Memory Unit. Along with storing files, the hard drive will make the Xbox 360 backward-compatible with part of the existing Xbox game library. Control your Gameplay Xbox 360 uses a refined button layout for its controllers. Back and Start buttons sit at the center of the controller and between them is a new Xbox Guide button, which instantly takes the user to the Xbox 360 user interface. From there, they can check for friends online, access personal digital content like photos and songs, and more. The black and white buttons of the first Xbox controllers have been replaced with new shoulder buttons placed above the left and right triggers. Xbox 360 can accommodate up to four wireless controllers and has three USB 2.0 slots to use for wired controllers or for streaming your digital media from digital cameras, MP3 players, and any Windows XP-based PC. Microsoft has also created a video-conferencing camera, sold separately, that will work with the system. | | Xbox 360 can manage your games, your online friends, and your personal digital library | The Media Experience All Xbox 360 titles can be played in either standard or high-definition resolution in 16:9 widescreen, with anti-aliasing for smoother graphics. Game designers will be able to take advantage of the system's multi-channel surround sound. The Xbox 360's digital media allows users to supplement any game's music from tracks in their own personal library. Go Live A built-in Ethernet port allows users to connect their system to a broadband connection for access to Xbox Live. The Xbox Live Silver Membership included with the console lets anyone create a Gamertag and gamer card to express your online identity, chat live with voice chat, and connect to the Xbox Live Marketplace to buy expansions, maps, and other digital items for your games. You can also update to a Xbox Live Gold Membership at anytime for even more benefits. The separately sold wireless adapter supports the common 802.11a, -b, and -g standards. What's in the Box? - Xbox 360 Pro refurbished console
- 20GB detachable hard drive
- 2 Wireless controllers
- Xbox Live headset
- Standard AV cable
- Ethernet cable
- Detachable faceplate
- Xbox Live Silver membership

Great if you buy directly from Amazon! August 28, 2010 nickjuly4 (WI, USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'd like to state that I bought this refurbished console DIRECTLY FROM AMAMZON, NOT ANOTHER SELLER, and by looking through the reviews I'd suggest against buying from other sellers since you're not likely to get exactly what the product page says (such as second controller, HDD, ect.) and it's a higher possibility to get the RRoD since they could be selling the older consoles.
Now on to my review. Upon receiving the console I noticed it came in a special box that looks like a Xbox 360 Pro with the words "Go Pro" on the box, but what was different was that it said "Refurbished" in three different languages on the top and on the side of the box it said it's refurbished to original specifications and may contain small cosmetic imperfections. The box also contained two stickers, one saying that it contained two wireless controllers and another stating that the console tray color may be white or chrome. So, the refurbished console is actually a console that was refurbished by Microsoft themselves, not anyone else, so you know that it'll have the one year warranty like with any new console.
When I opened the box it came with all the instruction manuals, two wireless controllers, the console with the 20 GB HDD attached and "refurbished" sticker, wired headset, hybrid video cable with both component (R/G/B) and composite (Yellow) video cables, Ethernet cable and the vented power brick with the power cable. Also the console that I received was actually a Xbox 360 Arcade (with a white disc tray) with a 20 GB HDD, but that doesn't really matter as it also includes the 512 MB of internal memory (seen as a memory unit by the 360), which means more memory in total. The only cosmetic imperfection I noticed was the small scratch on the HDD, but other than that everything seems brand new.
When I started the 360 it guided me through the initial setup and everything and everything worked great. What really surprised me was that the update to run original Xbox games was already included in the system so I was able to play my copy of Blinx: The Time Sweeper without even updating.
If you want an Xbox 360 for a very cheap price and don't want to save up for the Xbox 360 Slim then this is the best choice for you! Also for those who are hesitant, picture this, you buy a new Xbox 360 Arcade for $199.99, but you don't get the Hard Drive, extra controller, headset or the component cables, and if you did buy that separately it'd cost almost the amount for a new Xbox 360 Elite, and that still doesn't come with the extra controller. With this you're getting a great deal!
Also I took a lot of detailed pictures and uploaded them as customer images, but for some reason they appear to be combined with the other XBox 360 customer images and aren't accessible from the product pages. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not but I hope Amazon fixes it. Until then you can access them by using the link below:

Not everything as advertised August 27, 2010 Dilly 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am not saying you shouldn't buy this refurbished Xbox 360 but you should all be weary that different people sell these xbox's on here. I was not so lucky as some people here when I got mine in the mail a few days ago. Why? Mine came with no HDD, only 1 controller (which I don't mind as much), the WRONG power supply, and it looks like the xbox had been opened before because the void sticker is no longer there (it's under the faceplate).
I do not give this product 1 star because I know what I paid for, and I didn't want to fork over the money for a new 360. After a day of running around town getting a new power supply that actually works with my 360, getting a new HDD from a friend, I finally booted it up and it DOES work. I've successfully played on it for a long time with no problems.
One last thing is that when the xbox was mailed to me, the seller wrote a letter about the different problems that the Xbox has. I don't know why he failed to advertise any of these problems to me before, or after, I paid. I only got it in the box when it was on my doorstep.
Buy these Xbox 360's if you are strapped on cash, have a lot of patience, and are tech savvy. If not, please go buy a new one so that you don't have to waste your time; I've learned my lesson.

I'm sure this product is a great product. However I would not know anything about it due to the following reason. Number 1. I ordered this product over 2 weeks ago and it still has not been shipped. When I contacted amazon about my order they simply refered me back to the shipping dates. The shipping dates they gave me was about 3 weeks after I ordered the product. When I asked amazon if they did not have the product in stock, I was just again given shipping dates to refer to. Pretty sad if you ask my opinion. The product by the way is said to be coming from the amazon warehouse. I believe it's sad when you pay a company $224 dollars for a product and then they fail to ship the product and they also fail to give the customer a reason for why it takes over 3 weeks to drop the product off at the post office. I would even except "we are currently out of stock but will mail as soon as we get the product in stock". But as I stated earlier, amazon failed to give me any sort of answer. I'm sure eventually I'll get my product. To amazons credit this is the first time I have had any problems with shipping, all my previous orders have come to me without fail.

I did not receive what I paid for, no Hard drive, no controllers... Just read what the message the seller sent me:

Hello,
I was just packing up the Xbox, and noticed that the faceplate is missing the little USB port hinge door, and that two of the rubber feet from the side are missing. These are really just cosmetic issues, of course, but I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. Just say the word and I'll ship the Xbox out :)
Thanks,
You readers be the judges
XBox Refurb August 20, 2010 SMcCleary1130 Don't waste your money on a refurb. I purchased this and within 3 weeks it stopped working. I asked for a refund and they refused saying they will send a replacment. I'm sure the replacement will break too. I've already spent almost as much with the original shipping plus the return shipping that I could have purchased a new one. Don't waste your money on a refurb. Buy new.
